With about 20 years of experience of our senior laboratory management, headed by Martin Barkworth, we perform bioanalysis in both, human kinetics samples as well as preclinical samples by LC-MS-MS or HPLC.

Our service may comprise the development and validation of an analytical method or sample analysis of an already established method. While more than half of our capacity in the analytical laboratory is used for samples derived from clinical studies performed in our own unit we also perform analysis of external human or animal samples with a total capacity of about 70.000 analyzed samples per year.

As we are GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) certified according to German Chemikaliengesetz since 2005 every project starts with development of an analytical study protocol containing the details of the specific project and ends with the generation of an analytical study report with the results of the analysis, the methods applied, and equipment used.

In compliance with GLP all relevant procedures and systems are covered by SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) including our validated computerized systems. In order to ensure compliance and to further develop our quality system ongoing internal audits are regularly performed by our Quality Assurance Unit.
