For about 20 years now we are supporting the European Pharma and Biotech Industry in Phase I-IIa clinical research. It all started in 1989 when today's board members and founders of SCOPE met each other in a small clinical unit in Hamburg.

Christian Hilgenstock, Claus Hemker and Martin Geist realized at that time that they shared a common vision: the creation of an independent CRO that on the one hand fully meets the ever-growing standards of Phase I-IIa research and on the other hand would be flexible enough to meet demanding timelines of the clients.

This vision came into reality in 2000, when SCOPE was founded. Today, Scope positions itself as a management owned Phase I-IIa Full-Service CRO that successfully bridges the gap between preclinical and late stage development.
